New owner of TLS - need help please

Hey all,

Just picked up my 02 TL-S. Wondering if anyone knows a good CHICAGOLAND dealer or body shop that provides good engine inspection, tune-up, window tinting and touch ups on rust?

My car didnt come w/a remote ... would it be wise to buy one from ebay thats compatible and have the Acura dealer program it? And what would be the costs?

THANKS a bunch!!

Thanks Jput...

Mine is silver over black. Its almost immaculate except for the rust dots. How is yours running? I got 58K miles on it since the previous owner used it mainly for highway traveling. So far so good!!

BTW, what does NBP stand for?

Make sure the codes in the back of the new remote matches your old stock remote. Some key fob may look the same but won't work with each other. Be sure to have all Key fobs you want working with you when you do this.

1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).

2 Within 1-4 seconds push the transmitter lock or the unlock button.

3 Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch OFF

4 Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch ON (II).

5 Within 1-4 seconds push the transmitter lock or the unlock buttin.

6. Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch OFF.

7. Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch ON (II).

8. Within 1-4 seconds push the transmitter lock or the unlock button.

9. Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch OFF.

10. Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch ON (II).

11. Within 1-4 seconds push the transmitter lock or the unlock button.

12. Confirm you can hear the sound on the door lock actuators. Within 1-4 seconds, push the transmittor lock or onlock button again.

13. Within 10 sec, aim the transmitters whos codes you want to store at the receiver, and press the transmitter lock or unlock buttons. Confirm that you can hear the sound of the door lock actuators after each transmitter code is stores. Make sure you program all transmitters you want working within 10 seconds of each other. Ones not included in this programming will no longer work.

14. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and pull out the key

15. Confirm proper operation with the new codes.
