New Navi Screen Swap....
I searched for awhile now and havent seen a DIY on how to swap out the navi screen. My old one was scratched and I just got a new one today.Do you have to take out the center console and all that shit to swap it? Just curious how long the swap would take? Any help is appreciated.....

yes... you have to remove the two (2) silver strips... the air vent on top of the screen... the two two cubies under the radio.... the radio... so it should take you a good 2 hours to do since you're doing it for the first time... since you'll be extra carefull... a seasoned guy like most of the NUTS (like myself) would get it done in less than an hour...
Good Luck and get to it... don't be afraid to pull... they are just clips tha are easily replaced...

yea you have to pull the whole center console out... Radio and a few dash trim peices too. There is a DIY for removing the radio(just a few more screws for the navi screen) around here try search or check the DIY thread. Its takes maybe 20-25mins the first time you take it apart, but once you know where everything is it gets a lot faster.
