Alright I did a search and it seems that issues regarding new members posting habbits is a continuing problem. I've come up with a suggested solution:

Part of the registration when getting a sign on to this board should include a mandatory test where the new member has to click on multiple choice answers. Membership is only awarded to those that pass.

Question 1:
Suppose you have a question for the members. What should you do?
a.) post a new message in the appropriate forum
b.) perform a search to see if the question has been asked before

Question 2:
Suppose you want to sell something. What should you do?
a.) post a new message advertising your product
b.) pay to become a premium member so that you can post in the For Sale / Wanted forum.

Question 3:
For some reason you like to type with all Caps
a.) On this board it is okay to post using all Caps
b.) Only use all Cap to emphasize a word, phrase, or short sentance.

Question 4:
You read somewhere or your buddy gave you some information that you think is something you want to share
a.) post a message and share with everyone as for the information you heard has to be true
b.) post your message but add a disclaimer of where the information came from and its possible credibleness.

 

not to be insulting but....get a life.

its no big deal...when you pay for a membership, you should be allowed to post whatever Q's you have, albeit at the chance of getting flamed/yelled at

this board has been around for quite some time and I'm certain that the administrator in addition to all of the moderators are capable of determining membership criteria. Based on this post it seems as though you wouldn't have passed .......
