New Lip kit in need of repair?

Hey guys I plan on getting a new complete lip kit tomorrow for around $150 and it is not a OEM one (I can only tell because it has some chips in it and some glass fibers are sticking out) so I am pretty certain it is made of fiberglass.

But I never park near curbs and honestly cant remember the last time I even had to come close to one and the cracks are not too bad and I think it would fly pretty well. And I probably will still wait to install it until it gets a little bit warmer
And it is in SSM and I would have to get it resprayed anyway.

So my question is this: Do you think it is a good idea to invest in this now and repair it? Or hold out for a (probably costlier) OEM one?

OK so I have put them off for about another week or so, so I can figure out the best route.
Still would appreciate any advice!

Hello out there?
Just jot down what you think please.
Cant really ask anyone else, and some other thoughts would certainly help.

Well I'm not the most knowledgeable person here, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt. But if the one you have isn't the OEM one, just buy a new one on ebay for like $100. You could sand it all down and have it repainted but I'm not entirely sure how much that'd cost.

IMO, Its gonna take while to find the OEM lip since its a rare thing to have

Do you have any expenses to pay? like bills?

We cant tell anything from your pictures. All i see is a lip kit with grass, dirt and leaves stuck to it. Can you clean it and get better close up pictures of the damage?
