hey everyone, my brother just purchased a 2002 Acura TL type S, and i wanna find out some info on some mods for it. He doesnt want the exhaust to sound too ricerocketish, just wants to free up some HP through the exhaust. What do you guys recommend? Also, he's looking into a new intake and chip, do they have a chip for the TL?

Welcome to the board.

Here are some suggestions. Check the links. They are to http://www.autocarparts.com Tim, the guy who runs this board also runs ACP

Exhaust: Comptech
Intake: AEM or Injen
No chip for the TL

"Having money is rather like being a blond. It is more fun but not vital."

Mary Quant (b. 1936)

The advice on this site will quickly make you go from being blond to brunette (or bald).

Mary Quant is/was a British fashion designer. This quote came from a newspaper interview in 1986.

I don't claim these people are great; merely the quotes.

Were I to need something else to be called (and I've been named any number of things), it would probably be Sophomore (not the grade level, but from the Greek, meaning "wise fool").

But thanks for the honorific.

thanks guys, i actually belong to another forum for my own car, its a jeep grand cherokee forum, and ive found that yes, by joining forums, your wallet soon becomes very thin. But i have gained SO MUCH useful knowledge from that board, so i hope to have the same here. Now, is that website the nsxnext just for carparts, or is it another forum where i should be at? this seems like a pretty lively forum that can offer ALOT of info. Thanks for the tips nsxnext, i hope to be asking some more questions about instals and such and such. Thanks again

Darla, luvya to death, Mary Quant! This crew would as likely know Mary Quant as it would Twiggy, Carnaby Street, and what a brolly or a lift is! Or Latin for that matter: Gerund or gerundive?
