I had someone run into my front passenger fender and trash it royally about a year ago (hit and run). I went to the body shop and they wanted something like $1100 to fix it. New part, prime, paint, clear coat, and blend. Well I didn't have a grand to just throw around at the time so I left it life it was for a while. I was looking on eBay bored one day and saw this company called Unique Customs based in Charlotte, North Carolina that wanted 360$ for a brand new fender, painted to match my car color and shipped to my door. They said I could either give them my paint code and they would use that to make the paint or cut a piece out of the messed up fender and send that to them so that they could make an exact match since my car is 8 years old. I cold a 2 sq inch piece out of my fender and mail it into them and then they mailed it to Dupont who made an exact match and then I got the fender in the mail and installed it myself and it looks great. And I saved over $700!! If anyone is interested their number is (704) 263 1421. Just thought I would spread my find.
My car is actually in the shop right now getting a new windshield but as soon as it gets out I will take pics...
