Just because it's a 9 year old car doesn't mean people have to STOP modding it. Tastefully that is. If this is a car that people will be driving everyday they should be able to modify it the way they want as long as they plan on keeping it a few years. Intake, Headers, rims/tires, suspension, tint, upgraded radio and so on can all be taken out and sold if something goes wrong, or it's time to sell the car.

Re-read what I said. I said peelude because I dont care for the car. It's still fast for a fwd car.

My piont, which you clearly missed was that it doesn't have to be v6-8 to be fast.

+1

just because its not a common 4 banger s2k or prelude doesn't mean there aren't parts for it.

obviously it wont be worth doing heavy performance mods w/the slushbox but if you do a 6 speed conversion, the car can easily become something.

the way you speak makes me think you are a v8 loving mustang guy...

edit: just read what you wrote.
i no longer have any clue what your point is.

wait, is it that you just want to modify cars that everyone else has already modified?
aka the staple tuner cars, like evos, and s2ks, and rx7s, etc...

thats why when your planning on putting down some MAD power, we do the 6spd swaps, ie: kris, jcharged, and me. all went the 6spd way bc we know what we are doing (still waiting for my 6spd)

2, 5, 9, 15 year old cars can be way faster then the newer cars for half the price if not more. your search and buy a cheap car and make it looks good and go fast. and u only spent a couple thousand on modding it and its hanging with $25k-$40k performance cars.

I guess it's all what you want to drive. a POS old fast car, or a nice newer fast car. Many new cars are in the 6's 0-60 - stock.

No matter how nice it looks on the outside, the interior always shows its age.

Again, please re-read. This peelude was pushing 300hp. Thats why it was fast.
