So i got my bonus check this week and feel its time to order some exhaust tips Im looking to get the Tsudo 1999-2003 Acura TL Dual SP Extreme Axleback Exhaust System now im going to order this, this weekend so what i want to know is there another brand out there i should get? im looking for a better/louder sound i dont care about gains, and im looking to spend around 300. Or if this is the one i should get lmk all comments appreciated!

Theres a sound clip that one of the members fixed on that companies site. Forgot who but it sounded good on the clip. For 150 mine as well give it a try. Can always sell it if its not what you like.

i heard the sound clip, sounds nice but isnt as loud as i would like, but good enough thats why im asking what else is out there but when i search google/ebay cant find anything. and like you said for that price it gets me hooked

Tsudo sells axleback now? I thought they only sell mufflers. Well, if you want it louder u can always modify the stock exhaust pipe. I believe deleting the mid muffler and resonator with aftermarket mufflers will make it louder. How loud? not sure.

Passed 5 mins, couldn't edit my above post. Anyways, the exhaust tips looks nice but looking at a sorta side view picture of it. The tips stick out a little too much for my taste. It would look better if it was flush or an inch further in the bumper.

Axlebacks ARE just the mufflers

Isn't axlebacks directly bolts on to the stock pipe while mufflers has to have custom pipe to the stock pipe?

Ah OK, now I know what you mean. There are universal mufflers which need to be modified to fit onto your car, but axlebacks are also mufflers which are just, as you said, made to be a direct replacement.

AMGala, yea thats what i meant cause i remember tsudo has universals, didn't know they started to make axlebacks. I thought i was going crazy...

And when you do go custom i'll take ur exhaust off your hands

^^ i'll go with the exhaust and take off your intake resonator and drop in a K&N filter. Get the CAI later
