i have a 99tl white with no body kit it's pretty much stock on the outside i am wanting to get a spoiler but i don't know what would look good on it i know there is the factory spoiler and then the m5 lip any suggestions pics would help remember i don't have a body kit. also i saw some tha are primed and you have to get it painted i was wondering how much it might cost to get a spoiler painted? thanks!

 

Your choices are:
1. Mugen lip - awesome but expensive ($380) unpainted
2. Wings West - Spoiler look but ease of install of wing ($225)
3. M5 lip - simple but classy ($170)
4. Factory wing - Good looking but common - comes painted ($300)
5. Inspire JDM wing - Good luck getting this from Japan ($800+)
6. A-Spec wing - Must have vin from Canadian car ($800+)

Go with the mugen lip. Its more expensive but the best looking (IMHO)

 

get a wings west wing it looks hot, but the M5 type spoiler will look conservative take a look in the gallery to get some better ideas

 

I saw several 97-03 M5 lip spoilers on ebay for like $40.00 bucks a piece. Is this the right one? If so, how much would it cost to get something like that painted?

 

Depends of it needs to be stripped first of course, but a reputable body shop would charge about 70 - 150 to color match and paint a spoiler. I paid $100 to have my mugen primed & painted SSM.
