Need technical help.

Hey guys, Just visiting from the clubrsx board and I am in need of some technical support. A good friend of mine has a 2002 Accord V-6 Coupe. I ordered for him an AEM cold air intake from Diablo auto sports. They told me that there was no difference between the 2001 and 2002 engine. Anyway the things does not fit the car. It came in to pieces of pipe but the brackets to bolt the intake to, don;t line up. I am asking you guys because there is agood chance that peopel who own acuras also own Honda's. Has anybody installed a AEM Cold Air intake on a "2002:accord v-6 coupe. I spoke with AEM tech support and they told me that it shoud fit, but it is possible that honda changed something in the Engine bay for the 2002. Any bofy have any suggestions. I know this is an acura t-l board. but the cars are similar so i figured you guys might know something. Thanks for any replies.

The one for the TL-NonS is the same for the AV6 as well..
AEM-21-416 is the right part #. The 2.75" diameter pipe. This is listed for the 98-02 V6 Coupes..

The Type-S version is AEM-21-419 and has a 3" diameter.

So make sure he has the right one...

Make sure you don't have the intake for the 4 cylinder Accord. The V6 intake is different.
