Need an opinion here

Ok took my car in today for service and got a 03 TL not type S as a loaner, get in teh car and notice taht it drives smoother and lighter and almost feels faster then my TLS, the handling is not as sharp ill admit that but when i drop the gear the car takes off like it weights 5lbs, compared to my car which takes a second to get going?? anyone drove both cars?? is it just in my head or could i have a bad engine in my TLS???? any thoughts or idias?? i mean 30horse power diff but feels faster when i take off and just drive around???

The biggest difference is the suspension. The TL-P suspension is a lot softer. You'd be amazed at how different a car feels with a different suspension setup. That is why the car feels faster.. b/c it's more floaty. In reality... it isn't quicker.....

Most of the time this is true - especially when the cars are the same (TL to TL-S). But if you were comparing a 200hp car to a 350hp one, it would obviously be the more powerful one. Also is a car sits lower to the ground it typically feels faster too.

Juniorbean is right. If you ever race a TL-P you would leave it behind without a problem...

Stock you should be around 200hp at the wheels. I've seen dynos from 195-205... so in that range is pretty normal.....
