Need info on Optima Yellow Tops

So I bought an Optima D34/78 Yellow Top thinking it was the absolute best purchase I can make.

Then...on the sticker I see it ranked @ 650 CCA when online, it is advertised @ 750 CCA.

I do a Google search and found other D34/78's and found some @ 550 CCA.

I am soo confused! All this time I thought there was only ONE type of D34/78 Yellow Top available...can someone please clarify?!

Unless you've got a system of 1000W+, those Optima batteries are the biggest waste of $$ I've ever heard of. What a gimmic--take the optma back, go to Sears and get a DieHard Gold...then go buy yourself an ice cream cone...you just saved $50+ AND got a better battery w/ a better warranty.

Sorry, that's complete bull$hit. The Optima Yellow Top is one of the best batteries you can buy. I personally have used both Die Hard Gold and the OYT and OYT wins hands down. The Optima can handle multiple deep discharges and still recharge fully... try that with a Die Hard gold.

Well, I'm just speaking from experience. I have a 300 and 600 watt amps and have no problems with my DieHard.
