Red face need info?

when i turn on the ignition, the needle doesnt climb up and drop, on other cars i know definitely after ignition, the rpm needle picks up to at least the 2000 rpm range and drop, or stay, warming up the car.
the tl i would say bout just over 1000 rpm range.
what range do you guys have right after ignition? also i got the tl just a month ago could it be just a temporary break in thing

I always thought that the lower the rpm's, the better it is. My old 88 Accord used to get stuck on 2500 rpm when I turn it on. I had to press the gas pedal for it to go down.

BTW, my TL is between 1000-1500 rpm. Don't worry, there is nothing wrong with your TL.

Your 88 accord did it because it was carbeurated and opened up the throttle to warm up the car..something all carbeurated car's always do.. If you tap the gas, it lowers completely..waiting like 30 seconds it usually lowers, but not under 1000...When My TL is cold, it usually goes up to about 1200, then lowers after a minute if I waited..
