Need help, what mods should I do next if I've got H/E/P/I???

okay, here's the situation, I've got Comptech headers, Comptech exaust, AEM pulley, and AEM CAI. I want some more performance, but not the supercharger because it's too much money for only 60 hp... So now what could I do to the TL to make it more powerful? What's difference from the Type-S engine? And maybe some engine work? Considering a V-AFC or nitrous too. Please post your suggestions, thanks! Performance only though, just the go fast mods. Thanks

I would consider boring out your engine.....boring out your tb...port/ polish everything....maybe high compression pistons. LIghten things in the engine...crank shaft....flywheel...you know.

Go for the Comptech sway bars. Relatively low cost and they really make a difference in the handling.

Some sort of ECU mod- OBD2 is robbing you of the gains from your bolt-ons. Something like the v-afc, unichip, or greddy e-manage and have it dyno-tuned.

I have a good Idea. I will talk to doug about it later.

It was difficult to add a type S, throttle/manifiold to a TL-P mainly because of VSA. Now that the CL-type-S 6-speed is out it does not use/have VSA. Making it easier to add some type S ponies to the TL-P. I will ask doug if a new ECU/PCM would be needed.

This would also be good for the 99 TL-P to add the RES. Since it was too costly to add a 00-02 manifold to the 99 with no gains, it wouldn't be worth it. Now if we add a couple of ponies for the $400-$500 upgrade and be able to add the RES, now that would be really cool:wow:

Will let you guys now later.

Get sways! That's considered a "go fast mod" on the turns. You'll enjoy it alot more than the amount of money you'd be spending on the V-AFC. I'd probably do the VAFC as the LAST bolt on mod after I've depleted doing everything else.

Boring out the throttle body like bobowah said is a good idea though.

(But i'd still do suspention first)

Oh and dont forget about custom cat back piping for the exhaust. The 2 resonators in there rob a little power.

well, I figured, I might do the same nitrous setup in my TL as my Z...

http://www.andyang.net

100shot wet, NX kit, remote bottle opener, bottle heater, gauge, NX computer progressive control, purge valve, 15lbs bottle...

but for my TL, it'd be 75 shot, no computer, and maybe no remote bottle opener, and either a 10lbs or 2 5lbs bottles. I'd like to hide the bottles underneath the rear seats so... Anyway, as soon as it's done (probably in July), I'll let you guys know. Thanks for help man.
