need help with my ballast to hid kit!

need help installing my hid kit that i just bought....didnt wanna buy the oem balllast anymore cause i went threw like 3 of them alrdy on the same side...now i have a hid kit and i need help installling them in....only problem i have is that the org. plug does not fit the hid ballast...what do i do???everything else fit except the plug that powers the hid ballast on...help me!! have the car apart right noww

do an `inline splice` wire to wire (not the twist caps used in home wires)
and cover with shrink wrap tape

Best to solder the connections- no crimp connectors. Use shrink tubing to insulate.

I agree soldered is better,,was guessing the op didnt have any specialty tools
so making do with whats on hand

in that case: a connector beats twisting the wires together and covering with black tape

Get the plug from the bad ballast, solder that to your new unit and you have a perfect connector.
