Need help: I want to change my O2 sensor...

What can I do here...I have the Comptech headers and as some of you know the tail end of the O2 sensor is jammed up against the bottom of the tranny case. I can't unscrew it...it won't go but one turn or so. I could drop the headers but that's a pain...I could drill a hole for a new O2 location and weld in a new bung...or does someone sell a shorter O2 that will work? Thanks for any ideas.

Don't know what to tell ya. My OBX headers have plenty of room for removing the O2 sensor.

The only thing I could suggest is unhooking the downpipes/A-pipe from the catalytic converter, push it off to the side a little bit to give yourself some room to take out the O2 sensor. O2 sensor isn't something you replace often, so I don't think it would make sense to spend money and time to drill a new hole.

I would opt for the welding in of a new o2 bung...much easier.
