Need help. 2003TL Headlamp going bad
My left front HID lamp is turning amber (pinkish) in color which I assume means is that it is going to die soon. Will I need to replace the whole damn lamp assembly, or just a bulb? If it is just a bulb, should I just have the dealership replace it, or can I do this cheaper myself? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,

is the lense getting yellow? or is the light output is yellowish?
If its the bulb, you can easily install it your self, it will take you like 5-10 minutes.
If its the lense, they have some stuff that shaves off the yellow, and special liquid that repairs it.

The light emitted from the headlight is pinkish, almost an amber. this is even after the lights warm up. Thank god that I can just replace the bulb if that is the case. Is there a suggested site or vendor that anyone would recommend for a replacement? I would rather do it myself than get ripped by the dealership. Since I might be replacing this one bulb. are there other bulbs that produce better lighting? I am open to possible modification to the headlights if it is possible.
Thx,

yeah, definitely the bulb.
You will have to replace both bulbs, to match the light color and output, THUS, I would definitely recommend going with 6000K bulbs, the output will be a beautiful bluish white color, will look very nice, especially in the 03 headlight.
pm Krazy_TL for INFO on a good set of bulbs that Im currently using, they are HOT...and much cheaper than Phillips.
