Navigation woes

Hey guys, I'm looked around but couldn't find exactly what my problem is.
I bought a 99 TL with navigation and didn't like the whole hard drive thing so I got a 2000 Disc drive one, and got the 2.11c 2004 disc.

Bottom line, if I drive a few miles the navigation is for the most part ok. However if I drive for more than 15 minutes, the navigation puts me in crazy far away places. Have you ever seen that or know how to fix it?

For instance, I drove from Baltimore to Philadelphia and when I was done, the Navi said I was in western maryland, almost the complete opposite of what I was actually doing. How do I fix this?

sounds like you have to adjust your location. the system doesnt know exactly which direction you are facing, so you have to adjust it so that the arrow points in the right direction. if it's off by a little bit, the GPS will fix it, but if it is off by a lot, then it wont bring it back.

you can adjust location by going to the setup menu, go to the second page, and there is a "adjust Location" button.

I know how to adjust, I actually have to adjust just about every time I get in the car, Sometimes my arrow will just go in circles after a while, all over the place. Maybe my antenna is moving? How does the Gyro thing work?
