I didn't get the navigation system and now I'm kicking myself in the a$$. What is the best way to set up a Navi System with only doing minimal cutting or no cutting on my dash. I was thinking about getting a iPaq doing it that way but I want to be able to watch TV and DVDs on it.

Best way to do it is search This topic has been discussed in great detail over and over and even has pics of people doing the conversion.

 

The search won't provide you with anything more than a pic of the completed install and then just the name of the monitor being used.
The search brings up NO articles in regards to how to install or anything else like that.
I looked and searched all over each forum for info on it and couldn't come up with anything reasonable or helpful other than just knowing what monitor to purchase. Didn't even say how much it was or anything.
Sorry i had to quote you, it's just i get tired of people asking a question about this and the only responses are "do a search", while the search doesn't even bring up enough worthwhile information.

There are a million threads on aftermarket dvd players, navigation units, and/or just in dash monitors (motorized and non-motorized) as well as a threas with all Acura part numbers required for doing the navi conversion. Search IS your friend.

 

go to a junkyard and buy the parts... thats what I'm doing on my car.... i want the stock navi, and be able to watch movies, and instead of spending 3000 on the alpine, I'm buying the stock w/ the DVD conversion............ good luck finding the stuff though... i still cant find it!
