In the next couple of weeks i will be getting a TL , prob a 2000 or 2001 , and i was wondering if you thought it is better to get one with navigation or to save my money and put it into mods. Although i have a 98 RL with navigatin and i love it i , i sometimes thinks mods would be a better investment ?

its up to you if you want the navi. think of it as a 2,000 dollar mod on the new version, but for a used car, the difference would probably be closer to $500 or so i'm thinking.
it's a whole different ballgame when youre looking at used cars, u may be able to find a tl-s w/navi cheaper than a tl-p non navi. too many other variables to consider.
but, in my opinion, i didnt want the navi, so i put the extra cash to some mods.
personal preference though
by the way, welcome

I would do the NAVI. As a used car purchase, the additional cost will not be that much (if any). You can always do mods later, but can't "add" the NAVI later.
If you like your RL's NAVI and use it, you will miss it BIG TIME if you get a TL without it.
IMHO - NAVI - Don't leave home without it!![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I would go with performance all the way. I would rather be going fast in the wrong direction that slow in the right direction. For example my trip to Steamboat, Co (14hrs oneway) I made a wrong turn in a town and went the wrong way for about 10 miles. Yeah if I had the Nav that would have never happend but I made my U-turn and accelerated really quickly in the correct direction...WAAAHOOO!!! Which I would have to say was much more fun...

do the mods, getting lost in a car this nice has absolutly no setbacks at all, except for a little gas if you get lost. It's almost worthless in cities where there is road construction all the time since acura/honda is slow poke to update...

I think i am going to go with the mods , although the navigation is pimpy it is going to be hard to find a 2000-2001 with navigation in the exact inside and outside color i am looking for , i would think the dealer would up the price a lot more considering navi is a $2000 option on the car?
