i've got a 99 tl without navi and i am thinking about buying the garmin streetpilot GPS. i have had it before in other cars so i am familiar with the unit itself, but my question is does anyone know from personal experience or a friend, either way, any good place to mount it other than just the top of the dash. also, if the dash is the only place, how well does it stay on there. some cars have a large angle making it a pain. any info at all would be great. also any suggestions other than getting the garmin.

thanks that definitely confirms it's a good unit, and a couple of mounting locations. does anyoen know or can suggest any other mounting locations? ideally i would want the place where it would interfere with the least buttons or whatever else.

wow, that is unbelievable. it seems it would be almost impossible to do that with a TL though, just because of the way the interior is set up, but that would be pure insanity.
