Angry Navi Issue

Just picked up my TLS navi today. Problem is when it got delivered from the factory in Ohio they forgot to give the dealership the NAVI code in the glovebox to unlock it. They are telling me I will need to leave the car with them, they will need to take apart the dash to get the serial number on the unit then call Acura and get the 4 digit unlock code. Is there an easier way?

No they dont, they told me the same thing because i lost my Navi code. Dont let them take the dash apart. The serial number on the screen is the same as the one on the Navigation unit in the trunk. It was for me at least.

Cool

Welcome, welcome! Always glad to see another TL owner -- and especially glad to meet another White Diamond Pearl TL-S owner!

Enjoy your car (once your navi is operational!) -- I've been enjoying mine since Sept. 29th. No problems (knock on wood) to complain about... and I'm hoping I won't ever need to contribute to the "scratched rim" or "dead tranny" posts.

Take it easy,

Vincent

P.S. By the way... your sig should read "WDP"

Gave the dealership the code off the NAVI unit and they gave me some 5 digit code that does not work. They are going to keepo on trying. This sucks.
