Navi as a DVD player??

Navi as a DVD player??

this might be the wrong section (sorry admin). In my trunk there is a thing to put disk into. Right no the NAVI disk is in it. BUT on it there is a DVD logo...can i play DVD's?

nope. You need an alpine vehicle hub + dvd player or a Navi to TV module or whatever it is called.

you need the correct acura nav disc to run the nav system. They are different color to identify each model years disc

Then if you want to add $150 convertor, plus a dvd player, plus game or reverse camera, all those can run off the nav screen
But NO you cant just drop a dvd movie in and think its going to work

It's $215 shipped for the Dom's Nav2TV converter...now I'm looking for a camera and possibly a DVD player, I might end up using my PS2 though...
