navi dvd copying??? can we do it?

navi dvd copying??? can we do it?

i recently put a navi system in my car

and i tried to make a DVD backup cause the DVD my system comes with is $350.00!! now i extracted all the files on the original DVD and burned them to one of them double layer DVD's but it didnt work.... yall got any clue what i could do? PLEASE HELP!!! i dont wanna break this dvd and be screwed!!! lol. thanks ppl!

you can try making an image using alcohol 120% and then burning it
