Its for sure not new cam gears. I just hope it doesn't have an adverse effects (ie. loud engine sound from a CAI). Hope it works well with California's ****ty 91 octane too

Wow I just finished installing mine and raced around the track for a while. It took me 2 hours to install because I put it on backwards the first time. I want to thank them for selling me the first one and I am really happy with the performance. The only thing that bothers me is that it looks so nice compared to the other parts around it. Now I have to spend a fortune modding the whole engine bay and who would have thought that you could get so much torque out of a little thing like this.

Well it is definately worthwile and worth every penny.
Take a look at these pics, Sorry if they came out a little dark.

P.S. RIMS + tires dont count! since tires are a normal item you change on a regular basis and I dont know of anyone who's crazy enough to mount and balance their own wheels themselves without the proper equipment.

Recalibrated Mass Air Flow Sensor is a good bet! They run right around $300 for many makes and models. And they bolt right on in about an hour. Also, they provide between 10 and 15 HP gain throughout the entire RPM range.
Here's an example for a Corvette:

I've been wondering if it might be some type of replacement sensor for the throttle body or the sensor in the intake manifold (MAP)

I've been wondering about some kind of spacer type plate that would mirror the intake runners...basically increasing there size...that would bolt on in 5 minutes

look at the dyno chart, the gain is through out. It's definitely electric base mod.....
IT IS THE ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGER ........
Some other company already make these and guarantee that the gain from 4 to 15HP through out or MONEY BACK and they even pay half of the DYNO CHARGE if the gain is not what they claim.
my brother is ordering one for his celica now .... and im thinking to get one too if his celica proven to be in the 4-15hp gain.

Just wait and see if Electric Supercharger is BS. My brother is currently working on a project with the electric supercharger on his own Celica. He get it dyno soon.
I don't think the map sensor mod give you a linear HP gain through out. I have seen some map sensor dyno (not on TL), and there are lost at certain RPM.

I definitely think the mod is more electronic in nature than mechanical.
I think the elecontric side is the unexplored frontier for new cars. Lets face it, we can do all the old school mods in our cars but we are still fighting against electronic devices worrying about low emmissions and good gas milage.
