So im thinking ill drive from orlandoto ft lauderdale to go to my prefered dealer ship, rick case. Well what a mistake. My transmission was 1/4 times slipping in 3rd. So I would just shift past third, no biggy.

But on my way home i had all the following tranny symptopns

1. Slipping into third
2. Slipping into fourth
3. Downshift into 2nd from 5th at about 70 mph
4. In automatic mode not tiptronic id floor it and it would just rev up.
5. As I pulled into the dealership to park my car, I put it in reverse to back in, and what do you nkow !! Reverse is slipping too ! Kinda SOL, lol but atleast im here and hopefully im getting a loaner (Im 19 but they trreat me well).

i've dealt with rick case before...they gave me an RL as a loaner...

i didnty have my new nitrous setup in my car .. im 19 so no loaner .. even thoguh they gave me one last time ../. hmmmmmm

WHAT???? that's fucked up....i've been getting loaners since 17.....and we're known here for stupid azz rules too....

sorry bout the tranny....hopefully ur new one will last a long, long time

they owe u a loaner , you're 19 but it doesnt matter acura owes you one and if the dealer wont give it to you call client services now and they will have enterprise pick you up at the dealer

which acura dealer do you go to? im three towns from saddle river and wondering which one gives you a loaner.. the one at Ramsey is always busy with servicing and loaning cars so i never got one, even if they wanted to give me one. hmm.. since youre in saddle river, im guessing the Park Avenue Acura?

my tranny just slipped not too long ago...I'm ready to get rid of my car now...f*cking peice of sh*t. I don't know I'm going to get my dad to bring to the dealership for me because I have to work and don't have time. I'm hoping this shit get resolved but seeing as how Honda is going about this tranny problem...We just have to keep bringing them in and hoping they don't slip and that is it. I'm a little down but I guess it held up alright...my tranny lasted me 71K miles and now it decided to finally crap out. oh well, I better get a loaner but who knows with these dealerships these days.

they arent going to evelop new trannys for old model year cars .. thats the facts we gotta face ... they are just going to put little add ons to it to try and make it work better

yeah i go to park ave....it's focking crazy....they've got like a fleet of loaner cars......like at least 30 brand new 04 TLs.....ramsey had a civic or a 02 accord if i was lucky....go to park ave...really fancy place too....
