Friday night I was on my way home with my friend, and I got in a really bad accident, the body shop said the car is most likely totaled but they will see if they can repair it. We were in the right lane of a local street and ahead we saw a parked car so i veered into the next lane, but afterwards the car swerved sharply to the right and after that it fishtailed like crazy. It all happened so fast that I didn't know exactly what happened. It turned out that I went over the median once, spun around, then back into the lane I started in, and somehow ended up in a perfect parallel park by the curb. Somewhere in the median I hit a tree, which explains the fact that it looks as if someone cut off the first half foot or so of the car. Not a pretty site. Luckily my friend and I got out virtually untouched. Considering the fact that I was going pretty fast and that there were a lot of trees, it was a miracle that we did not hit any cars or people, and that we were fine. I think this goes to show that everyone here truly has a great car, I really believe that in part this helped save my life. If it had been another car, who knows what could have happened? Although it is sad that I will probably never see the car again and that I wrecked my parents' car, which I feel terrible for, I am grateful to them for getting it. Looking back at how this ended up I'm convinced something more than luck was at work, and I thank God for watching over me. I hope that everyone will be spared of anything scary like this happening, and please try to drive safely and wear your seatbelts, they really do save lives.
