Wink MY TL IS LIKE A RETRIEVER IN THE SNOW

......I do not know about you guys, but my car is very good in the snow...yesterday we had a little snowstorm here in the DC area. People around here cannot drive in the snow........therefore the "125" car pilup on 95 south among hundreds of other accidents yesterday..the SUV's think they are good while everyone else drives to fast, i was even tail gated by a damn news truck for like half a mile......
.......I got off work early in the mix of all the freakin mayheim, I had a little pep talk with my baby before leavin the parkng garage, and she listened.....i was a little leary because being that my car is lowered 2 inches, clearance is at a minimum, i though i may have problems on unpaved or very f-up roads.....but i just drove along mostly in D3 and had no problem..that gear is perfect for snow, i found...the wheels felt very planted in grippin the snow....ofcourse a extra push on the gas, and there was spin, but for the most part, i was cool.....how do you guys do in the snow?

My rear spun out a little when I was leaving the parking lot, but other than that, it handled beautifully. And I agree, stock tires suck balls in the snow!

I don't have stock tires - I have fitted Michelin Pilots onto the TL's stock rims, and yesterday during the snowstorm in NJ, the TL never once faltered - just kept going, even through about 4 inches of snow. I could see the car ahead of me (BMW 528i), slipping and sliding, but the TL just kept going....I could see the TCS light blinking off and on...

Thumbs up

No problems here with snow tires on.
I even tried to make the car slide when I hit the brakes hard. The ABS did not even kick in when I did this. I tried to make the car slide in my back alley that was coverd with snow & ice.
