My TL just hit 150k today

150k and going strong. 1st tranny laster 143k, engine runs perfect, original suspension and timing belt(will replace soon). There are a few rattles but not bad, overall its still in very solid condition inside and out. Hopefully I can get another 150k out of her as my car fits me like a glove and love it. Just wanted to share.

Great to hear. Besides the tranny issue, 2nd gen is a nice car. How is your second tranny holding up?

I put 304,000 on my 91 Accord EX 4 Banger. Never touched the engine except for timing belt replacement, new distributor, plugs and cleaning the idle control valve. I would hope that our TL engines will last as long. My Accord was 14 years old when I sold it and ran as good as it did when I bought it at 6 years old with 54,000 miles on it. Have to say that the 99 TL engine is awesome compared to the Accord.

I've replaced one wheel bearing, my front and side motor mounts and that's about it aside from tires and brakes. My major complaint with this car is the shitty OEM rotors.

I love my TL and since I have bought it its the only thing I have had to fix on it. Besides that I havent spent any money on anything other then that for issues. My TL is about to hit 100k and it drives awesome. Although I admit the person who had it before me replaced the tranny.

Congrats on your 150k and I hope you can do another 150.

It was pretty much a total rebuild. Everything was replaced in the tranny accept for the valve body which was cleaned and found to be in good shape and the casing, everything else is new. Cost was $3k at Aamco.
