Thats almost alway warped rotors given your tires aren't severly uneverly worn, but given the rotor/brake pad issue the TL has,,,, it's the rotors

General Question: I know ABS makes the brake peddle shake, but could it have made his wheel shake too?

I guess you could test to see if your rotors are warped by taking it out on the interstate and get up some speed, then when you get off on an exit, apply the brakes (not hard, just enough so that your pads are fully contacting the rotors and slowing the car) and see if the wheel shakes.... If it doesn't shake, I wouldn't worry about it. If it does, then yeah, you've probably warped your rotors... :banghead:

usually with the front steering wheel shaking the problem is warped front rotors, sorry to say. If your seat is shaking and if feels like the car is viberating it is typicall the rear rotors warped.

You can probably get them machined for 15bucks each and put them back on your self. Maybe an hour and a half job. Just have to bring the rotors to a shop to be machined, takes minutes to machine them. And about an hour taking off your tires, calipers, and rotors and puttong them back on.

ResidualFreedom is dead on. if you are under warranty bring it in and let the dealer turn the rotors
