My Rice Cooker

Some people have asked what my A'PEXi Dunk 115 exhaust looks like. I had them installed 2 weeks ago. So here ya go.

Now some people may say its too ricy and obnoxious...and i say "Bite Me!" in my usual acerbic tone. What can I say, I live in SoCal and I've got to keep up with the Jones's. After putting in a Greddy/Trust exhaust 5yrs ago in my Supra I can't go less than 5" tips on anything...inlcuding Q-Tips :p

The quietness caught me and the installer by surprise. But after 2 weeks of burn in, it has a nice deep tone but hardly noticeable until wide open throttle...the AEM CAI is still louder. Passed the cops test...OC Sheriffs, Buena Park PD, LAC Sheriffs...

My Inspire emblems should be here this week...Thanks Mike for your help. Coming Up...A'PEXi World Sport Coilovers in the next week or two.

thanks guys...i and my friends are still trying to figure out if they're cool or too much...i like them...my racer friends like them...my non-racer friends think theyre obnoxious pimp cans.

i don't know if this site sells them. they're two (2) A'PEXi Dunk 115 universal mufflers with the 60mm piping. i get distributor cost but retail should be around $210 each. plus another $100-$150 for install by a muffler shop and you have a total of around $520-$570.

I like ... I like...

Nice look to the TL.

How much fabrication did your muffler shop have to do? Is your exhaust now a custom catback ?

not much fabrication. just axleback like the mugens and the comptechs. an elbow pipe for each muffler. i've abstained from the catback piping because i was concerned about noise and vibration with the removal of the resonator(s?) in my family car. plus i figured if comptech and mugen don't see a need to go cat-back, then why should i?

Wow, I have to say they look sweet! The 5" inch tips matches very well. *sniff* I used to have a Greddy Evo on my accord. Damn, I missed the deep growl.

Hey i like them!
The only thing is i think they stick out from under the bumper just a little tiny bit too much. other than that they look pretty good.

flame coming..

Holy Sh*t. I thought Campbells soup cans only come in 3" size. You can feed a family of 12 in that cooker!!!
When are you gonna get the TyperR sticker on your bumper?
While you are at it, add RICE BOY sticker across your top windshield, they add 12 more hp.

flame ended..

In all honesty, I think it came out looking great, good install, well balanced, well hung!! (the exhaust)

r u kidding?

i got an extra 15hp from the Inspire emblems i put on today. this brings my total to 650hp at the wheels.:p

the body kit gave me so much downforce that that i don't need to lower my car...it just gets sucked down which was good for another 50hp.

next up... Powered by KimChee sticker...guaranteed good for at least 25 dyno'd hp and at least 22 lb-ft of torque

you laugh but those cans will be a profitable source of heat in the winter for the homeless...

i store and ferment my kimchee in the trunk since the morons at acura decided that i didnt need to fold down my backseat and left me with just the trunk...cross-bracing my arse.

i use my cold air intake to keep my frosty beverages chilled...

i use my volk III wheels to talk into when the'yre moving so i sound like a cylon from battlestar galactica...

i use my bodykit because we really don't need that much ozone up there so i'm doing my part as a plastic consumer...

i use my momo phantom carbon fiber shift knob because i like plaid...it makes me feel like a man...

You should install baseball cars on your calipers and have em stick out so they touch your rim.
Dude, when you're moving, you'll sound ferrari cool!!!
