My Los Angeles to Santa Barbara trip
Well, I took my new car on its first road trip. Wow! What a blast. I am so glad to have the Navigation - simply punch in address of hotel and viola! I do wish that the PLACES-->CATEGORIES included beaches and parks.
It was the first time I was able to punch the accelerator and feel that VTEC kick in. Unfortunately, I didn't get challenged during this trip. There was one Honda Accord V6 that was pushing me but I wasn't crazy to weave in traffic like he did.
Gotta a lot of stares from older-model Acura owners.
I can't wait for my next road trip.

Ya what was your MPG? I would like to know.
I usually get around ~320 miles for stop-and-go street traffic (with little freeway). But I got really good results on my trip from Orange County to San Diego! I was able to get 400+ miles for that tank!

Gas Mileage
Ok guys, here's what I got. I just got back from a 320 mile trip to my other house. The A/C was on more than half the time and the car was fully loaded (trunk full and five passengers, nothing too heavy though). I have found that driving 75 to 80 MPH gets me the best gas mileage so I maintained such a speed most of the trip. I started with a full tank and filled up right next to my house, after 322 miles. The car took in 9.87 gallons. Dividing 322 by 9.87, I calculated my MPG to be 32.6. I have a little more on some of my other trips but this time I had to drive through a lot of hilly areas. Anyways, I think the key is to maintain a fairly constant speed (although I did race a Suburban up to 105 MPH before he gave up). Let me know what kind of gas mileage you guys are getting.
