My LED Conversion Teaser
I posted this at the other site... but I thought that this would be pretty cool to the entire TL community so yah.
I was really inspired by my friends new black 2003 Audi A4's interior. I WANTED HIS INTERIOR! So yah...Here is just a teaser guys... I've been working really hard on this project.

All the pictures will be up within a week... thanks so much for waiting everyone... all I have to say is that at night, the TL is a DIFFERENT car!!! My mood lights stay on 24/7 as well... it looks pretty cool from outside because my interior is lighted up red even when I'm not in the car.
ok. only my mood lights stay on all the time, everything else is controlled by the day/corners/lowbeams stick.
Completed:
Radio
Navigation
Gauges
Heat seater buttons
Shifter lights
2 Ambient mood light LED custom drilled and fitted right next to HomeLink
To be complete:
Windows
Onstar green Led

Looks good. I need to drop the resistance on my blue LED's in the homelink module though... at times it just does not seem bright enough....

Using a custom cut circuit board, i used one 660 Ohm resistor for each LED, soldered the resistors and incoming voltage to where they needed to be. Drilled the holes on each side of the homelink, and the LEDs fit perfect. Their held in with their own force. The vanity light cover is painted black except for the areas for the vanity light to come through, to prevend the LEDs bellding in to the clear plastic. I rigged a switch inside the sunglass holder in case i want to turn it off. The LEDs are shaved at the end so they produce a wide pattern of light. Looks great. The painted plastic needs some touch-up work though.,.... Power comes from the drivers side visor vanity light. Since it only comes on when the lights are on, this worked good. The black/grey wire and the red/grey wire. I used a comptuer power conector so i could disconnect it easily.
Total cost about $10

Actually, I have them in a metal thing... its kinda hard to explain, but you'll know what I mean when you sit in a BMW and look at their moodlights. My LEDs are not shaved and these lights are on all the time... created an awesome effect at night... kinda like security light as well.
and no, i did not copy you, i thought of this on my own, you can ask some people on the forum such as asiankidd or even inspireaspec , i've been talking to them about my ideas for quite some time...
i"ll take pictures when i'm pretty much done with everything...
