I have a single ten and cheap alpine 4channel that runs my system for now. Peep my custom tweeter pod build in the photo section for 2g. Can't wait to start my retro and I'm totally feeling your car! I was thinking about going aspec for a while but decided to go another route when I have the money. LOL. Nice thread so far my man!

Thank you! Yeah I had it custom made for the space I wanted. I fits exactly snug between the narrowest part of the back of the trunk....if that makes sense. But its 4.0 cubic foot box tuned to 32hz. Makes those newer type r.s hit hard! But I need the second batt!

But yes! I can't wait to be finished with this retro. My shrouds came in today but I didnt order the 3" to 2.5" ring adapter, so now I have to figure out how I'm going to mount this shroud. But here they are. I got the "value" option which came out to $15 and the flaws are sooo minute you can't even tell when it's the housing.

They're honesty the perfect size and I only need to trim a very little amount of the top.

Here are the blacked out housings

What they should look like

But the painters tape peeled off some chrome Have to tackle this problem tomorrow

But almost there! As you can see when I put the housing bezel on, it pushes the shroud back from the top, so I have to trim some from the top, but not much!

More to come!

And oh yes, we actually don't have that much room. Its a tight fit. I got lucky, I was actually in the market for a RF amp. I also install systems on the side and I always push clients towards alpine, RF, and JL amps. Ive NEVER had one problem with any RF amp (any of their series) and they honestly produce very clean power. But any ways I measued the space we have and so happen the Power series amp fit down there and it pushes 82 watts rms x4 (as rated on birth sheet) at 4ohm. It pushes my polk components perfectly. I noticed a big difference from my old soundstream amp to this one.

But the amp acutally comes out and is covered by about 5" of floor matt. So its always covered, so its not TOTALLY concealed with out the floor mat.
