my 99 tl - Totaled

Well.

No one is hurts just small bruise and aches and pains. Hospital said nothing broken on my way home.

The car seems done. Had 156k 99TL. Nothing wrong.

Damages- Frame damage cause the rear trunk is out of alignment thats my guess. Rear tire passenger side now tilted inwards and muffler and bumper front gone lot of cosmetic work needed fenders and rear quarter panels and driver side doors. That what i got to but what not there since i needed my personal stuff and its cold outside.

If the insurance company decides to total what should i say? to get the most so i can use that that to buy another car.

No one was hurt and no other car was hit just slipped on some black ice and hit a ditch. No personal property damage either.

This is what KBB suggested retail value. (dealer)

Excellent condition $6,550

It went up from $6100 cause i noted it had the multidisc player which i had put in myself and i also had 17 inch rims too

does it sound right?

Thanks

yea thats the right amount for dealer... "damn economy"

but contrary to most people's beliefs.. "excellent" condition means practically mint.. and it is very hard to convince insurance the car was mint. most of the time you expect the "good" amount unless you have a great insurance company..

ok

Insurance offers $4200 after one thousand deductible and they take off towing since i did not have that either. They compare prices with cars around the local area i was told.

If I try to ask for better offer any suggestions? I feel pinned to a wall and dont know what to do. They are picking up today from the tow company that took it and i got my personal stuff and my hids but thats it.

thanks

Sorry to read about your accident.

Buy hey, you survived and that's the important thing.

Watch out the next few days and take it easy with any lifting or bending. Sometimes injuries don't manifest themselves for a few days after an accident.
