Today I woke up late so i just finished bolting in the front rear and side motor mounts and was having a little trouble with the tranny mounts so I took a break for today. plus I have work in a bit so no time to continue. Didnt take any pics either. At least I got some done. Tomorrow im gonna wake up early and finish those tranny mounts then take off the cherry picker and start plugging in wires, connecting hoses and possibly start refilling fluids while I'm at it.

Today, I got some dashboard work done. Can't finish bolting in the motor yet because apparently Im missing the front mount for the tranny. However, I already ordered one so it should be here soon hopefully then I can continue with that. Anyways, switched out the old auto harness from the dash and hooked up the new manual one. Heres some pics.

Auto wiring on top still in dash and manual on bottom. I lined it up so that when i went to put it back in it would be easier than just guessing which would make for more of a headache than I already have just looking at all that wiring lol

Another

auto wiring again before it came out

6 spd ECU

all that wiring

all out

Ok so when I took out the clips from the harness I had to break the zipties because they were too tight and the new wiring I got didnt have the clips on there already. So I used red zipties to tie it over the old ones and went to bolt it in to the dash. HOWEVER, I accidentally broke the tabs thinking it came out from the bottom when I could have just slid it out from the clip. So, I had to end up zip-tying the wires to the actual dash in order to stay on. So thats why you see the red zipties in these pics.

part of the cluster area wiring

another

passenger side fuse wiring

going in

Then it got dark while I was installing the dash again with all the new wires so I shined a light and tried to get some pics. Sorry for the darkness but its all I could get. Ill probably take better ones tomorrow once I finish it off.

Thats all for today. Tomorrow dash will be finished off hopefully and then I will start working on putting the interior back together while I wait for the front tranny mount to come in. Then I can start plugging in all the engine hoses and shit and hook up the clutch pedal with the master cylinder and finish things up!

Update time again! Got some interior work done today. Hooked up my cluster and dash and clutch pedal. Also got some wiring work done. Putting back these wires is a huge headache. Took me all day and I still didnt finish and probably wont even tomorrow. But Im still trying to go as fast as I can. Anyways heres some pics.

Dash and cluster

6mt gauges ftmfw!!

makes me sad looking at all this

everything

comin thru the firewall

clutch pedal going in

master cyl

ready to go

clutch pedal FTMFW!

bolted in to the firewall
still have to fix this part since theres a gap to the top. i just need to buy an L bracket or something I believe thats what one of the members on here did to fix that gap.

random pic lol

some of the passenger fuse wiring done

center console area

feeding some wires through

to the driver side

driver side fuse wiring

some stuff plugged in

passenger again

the whole thing

thats all for today. tomorrows gonna be the same deal. just gonna be working on getting that wiring out of the way as fast as i can. i honestly didnt mark any of it when i took it out so its a bitch putting it all back together....but oh well haha.

Good job Teo! Sorry I couldn't help you out, you should have given me a holler with that interior though. After doing my navi swap, I know how it feels to be dealing with all those wires man!

Can't wait to see the finished product and take a ride! But you can let kevin go first lol

Cutting the inch or so off the stock shifter below the threaded part and rewelding the threaded part back on helps
