Hey guys. I used to have a crown vic with the mustang front lip. I saw on nissan sentra forums that it fits their cars as well. Has anyone ever tried it before on a second gen tl here? May have to cut slits into the lip on the mounting area so it bends along with the curves easily and trim the ends but the measurement of the front of the car seems close, kinda in between the sentra and the crown vics. If noone has done it then come february I'd be the first to try it. Only costs $80 on ebay and if it doest work I'll put it on my brothers sentra. So does anyone know if it's been done? Thanks

Hey 2000tlp, sorry man.....but that's about as ghetto as it gets, IMO !!!

Just save up a few extra bucks and get an OEM replica lip kit or look for a used one.

To each his own 3.2TLc respect your opinion but im a sucker for different. If it looks like crap I'll get the oem-style one but I want to give it a try. Kinda hoping someone has done it to see how it looks.

Are you talking about this one?

Try it and see, there is nothing wrong with trying something different (well there are some things but we wont get into the 2' high wings and stuff) . I know the Focus and Neon/srt guys are running them as well

i mean, its just a lower lip that has no ties to the mustang body lines....

over on the 3rd gen TL section we use Subaru's STI's lower lip.
its black and is a little lip, just like the picture fsttyms1 has shown.

as long as it fits the front, and im sure you could modify it a bit to make it fit.

Yeah, that newer style Mustang lip may actually work out ok.

But, being still old school and really into the true muscle cars of yesteryear: '60>'70s.....I envisioned the original Mach 1 front spoiler on a repulsive Crown Vicky and a Sentra and just lost all sanity as to why anybody would even consider trying to fit a TL with something like that.
Sorry, must've been Altheimer's kicking in, IDK !!!

mmmm, too much modification for an experimental lip IMO.

It doesn't have a point like our bumpers do and that lip is flat, which the underside of our bumpers are not.

The sti lip on the other hand will be fine.
I used to have the one with the wings
