Mugen Wing Remake. Who wants one?

I have found a really good place for making composite parts and have known that you have been looking for a good Mugen wing rep.

Well, I have a member here with a wing, and a car, and I have the manufacturer. Just need some deposits!

I just picked up a part from my guy and the quality is amazing. A wing in cf is
going to be in the $350 range and one in fg is going to be like $285, plus paint
is going to be optional for $80 or so (we can even paint the carbon and leave an area of carbon exposed to give a fancy look). Shipping would be about $30 after we include a box and good packing material.

These prices are shooting from the hip estimates but should within 10% of the
final price. Initial depositors can get a bonus like free shipping or
something.

Deposits would be in the amount of $50. I only need like 10-15 deposits to get started! Once we have them all, we need about 3 weeks to get the mold made all perfect., and then about 2 weeks to ship after that.

We can make grilles an lips too...but let's just focus on this wing for now.

Doesnt the Mugen wing have bolts too, that you have to make additional holes? If it is, would be nice if those same holes for the Mugen wing would match up with the stock wing.. :thumbsup:

You dont have to bolt anything for the Mugen spoiler other than inside the car...(if that makes sense)

I wish I could scan the paper that came with it if my mom didn't throw it out! :annoyed:

I would love that. But Fitment would have to be on point for me to rock it.

Yeah, I'm in if the mugen wing fits the factory wing holes, since mine are already drilled.

I'm going to want one for sure. I've been looking for a spoiler for awhile so this is perfect.

Not possible The wing is far smaller than the hole location for the stock wing.

Guys.. NO asking for other things. Keep it on track. You FINALLY have an option for this wing. Id suggest jumping on it!

Damn just had a stock spoiler installed...Will have to consider.

the mugen wing itself is nowhere close to the holes for the oem spoiler...

just get the holes patched up n get the spoiler...

That I am not sure about. The Mugen rep Medieval-Pro wing we did for the 84-87 CRX we deleted the spot for the emblem. "Shaved" it. I don't necessarily believe in making a STRAIGHT copy of Mugen since I'd hate for it to take away the glory from those with the original.

But if this is going to me a make or break line items we can incorporate the spot for the emblem and sell the emblem separate.

I'm getting one for sure.. gives me an excuse to order the jdm visors. you can't really make the mugen badge, can u? i'd love to have it but not on a replica.

i hear that the mugen lip spoiler doesn't look right without the oem lip kit, anyone have pix of a lipless tl with the mugen lip spoiler? cuz i don't rly like the lip kit enough to buy it.

I heard the sky is blue.... :what: It looks just fine on a car without the lip kit. Ive been here since 2002 and i dont think i can recall any one saying the car didnt look good without a lipkit and the mugen. And if they did they are in the HUGE minority.


Oh and i think the spoiler WOULD look better without the bumpout for the emblem. :2cents:

yea please either make it with the emblem already attached or remove the emblem completely. It would look really lame for those who dont want the emblem to have an outline of it on the spoiler :/
