i have a 99 tl, 77K and no tranny problems. but the warranty is almost up. I AM SO IN.

i guess I may be a lucky fool./ Have not even come by the board now for like a year or something. Glad to see Bobatimez, Shoofin and a few other old members still around.
My 99 is at 66k and no problems. Sport shift or auto shift is still as smooth as when i got it. it is the original tranny. As with any tranny, I would not expect normal issues with it until at least 85k-100k...closer to 100k since its a Honda/Acura. The new trannies had more issues b/c they went to the newer design with the 5 spd, not an existing design in the 99's. Hope our luck holds out, but I do wish you guys luck on this petition...but I suspect that most of the 99's are good, and the bad ones will likely get quietly taken care of if you can present a good case to your Acura dealership to get Acura involved. Good luck!

Fauck!! I can feel my tranny starting to slip now from 2nd to 3rd gear...I would feel it shift really rough...it used to be so smooth and u feel nothing...now I can feel my whole car shake as it shifts...

We now all know (or should be now) that the 99 tranny's were already added to the recall list. There really should be no other reason to continue this thread.
