Mods to a 2002 TL-S

What's up all. Haven't been on the board in a while, and am looking to do some mods. I did go through the seach and read past thread, and came up with this - Comptech headers (do it right the first time), Icebox with filter, UR pullies, and V-AFC. Questions:

1. Aside from Ebay, where's the next best place to buy CT headers and the V-AFC?

2. For the $$ for the cat back exhaust/mufflers, the gains don't seem to be there to warrant the $$ - opinions?? Why or why not?

3. Can anyone suggest a good shop to tune the V-AFC for me in the L.A, CA area? Orange County would be even better!!

4. Have I missed any reasonable perf mods? - i.e. no superchargers, Nos, etc.

Is it possible to make this car a 300-300+ hp car?

Thanks in advance........

1. There's a person on a-cl.com selling CT headers ($800+) used..a bit pricey in my opinion but heres the link to it http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...hreadid=135108

2. You are correct on this, our TL-S already has a decent exhaust system and if you were to get an aftermarket system, it'd be for looks and sound.

3. Hopefully a fellow CA member could help you out on this one..

4. UR Pullies will help you with some low-end hp/torque.

Well it's all on how much money you have. If you have the money for a blower, I say go for it..and without some type of forced induction, I don't think you can make it a 300hp+ car w/just I/H/E.

Thanks for the link. Is it worth looking into getting a performance cat to replace the stock one?

well he said i/h/e/p and vafc....so i'd bet he be making 300+ at the crank....you might wana look into the unichip...not sure if you can still get into the group buy...thats suppose to give good gains...

For the best gains from a single mod..headers would be it..other than the blower.

Headers will definitely be my first purchase.

Who do I talk to, to see if I can get in on the group buy??
