Metal piece when removing HID bulb, HOW TO PUT IT BACK ON?!?! HELP!!
Hi guys, I was wondering if any of you know how to put back that little metal piece you swing down when taking out the low beam bulbs. I think it's used to hold the bulb in place and instead of swinging down the shit just popped right off. I'm just wondering if I have to take the car to the dealer (and probably fork out an arm and a leg to get it fixed) or if there is a simple way to do it that I haven't tried. I tried working on it for like 30+ min and I can't figure it out. Can someone take off the black plastic housing and take a pic of the metal thing so I have something to go by? It's the passanger side HID. Thanks for any help!

i had the SAME problem when i cleared my headlights.. it took me almost 3 hours to figure out.. im not totally sure but the bracket is all crazy shaped, at the end its like a circle kinda.. i think you need to put the screw in that circle and then screw it into the housing.. good luck

u can stick your head in there. take some pictures and post it. you can unscrew it and if it popped off, either the screw is loose or it snapped. i dont know how much it is to replace that one peice but u can get it and put it in yourself.

They dont seem to have that part alone
It should only go in one way, one side has a clip to hook onto that little metal peice. IF anything you only havbe 4 possible ways to try to put it in.
