Kind of a long story, but I hit scraped my front bumper on a metal pole today. It doesn't look too bad, mostly some big scrapes and scratches, but the very edge of the bumper is very bent, I'm not sure a body shop could fix it. I don't have pics now but I'll post them tommorrow.

So I figure I'll need a new bumper (I have another scrape on the other side of my bumper anyway), and I was thinking of trying to get the value sports bumper. value car audio is down now, but I found it here:

It's $660 for the bumper, but at the bottom it says it's $800 for shipping and customs - wtf? $800 to ship a $660 part? is there anyway around this?

I guess I'm just looking for any info about how much I would expect to pay for an OEM bumper from the dealer versus an aftermarket one.

That's the Value kit...and it's $800 b/c it's shipped from Japan.
