im looking for a front mesh grill without the acura logo on it. can anyone help me out, something like shimbo519's grill but without the A on it. thanx in advance to all who reply.

 

from what i remember shimbo has the mugen grill..

but you can make your own grill if ya want. check out my pics, you can do what i did but take off the A too..

i tried doing mine wthout the A... but it didndt look right at all... it was bubbling out in the front part and getting pulled back in towards the edges... didnt look good i think it looks best with the A... but if you can make it look flat then shit let me know how you did it

Ehhem...
if you but a round hole where the black bump is and bending the edges upward (looking to the outside) you can make the mesh wire to back evenly and THEN put the A ontop. thatway it doenst look nor bumped nor ugly.

If you want if flat with no A...you'll have to cut out the mesh part of the stock grille...i mean ALL, just leaving the outber black plastic edge. thatway you'll make your own mugen by just painting the chromy part of the grill. BUT you cant to back stock (who wants to) its very time consuming and it looks AMAZING.

here's mine with the first method i told about (no cutting original mesh and could turn back to stock in 5minutes, upward folded + cut mesh under the "A")

notice how the pointed upward cuts are covered by the A.
btw- i did this myself in 2.5hrs of work. (first time, now that i know could be in 30minutes)
