the mdx steering wheel does fit the 2nd gen tl, i ordered one with the burlwood and tan leather but had to return it because the tan didn't match. it was darker like you said, i think the color was taupe.. our's is parchment.
i'm not sure if the mdx steering wheel comes in parchment leather, you can try searching acuraoemparts.com (?) i hope this helps
