Maybe getting the car painted
A few months ago my car was vandalized and keyed on just about every panel on the car, so I've been thinking about getting it repainted, probably the same color to save money.
What else can I do to save money on the paint job? Is there anything I should buy on my own to save on cost. Are there things I can purchase now and for the next couple of months so that I dont get hit with a 2grand bill at one time.
the car is monterey blue pearl, I figure painting it the same color would make sense but I really like NBP.

There is nothing you can buy to save money. 90% of the cost is going to be labor to prep and finish the panels. The other 10% is going to be the paint.

And many shops wont warranty the work. Unless you have done that kind of work before i wouldnt do it. You may end up causing more work for the shop, or making it look like crap if its not done right. There is more to it than just sand it out a little. Plus where do you stop sanding? (i know but do you? )

hmmm, labor is where the cost is at huh?! guess there really is no way to save money on this shi... except for going cheap, which I don't want to do. Getting every panel repainted is the same as complete paint job right, they will have to repaint the entire panel and match colors, or do I just say repaint the whole god dammed thing!!
