Max fog light bulbs..

How do they compare to other brands like Eaglite, PIAA, Silvyanna, Razo, etc.. I got the 55w super whites for my fogs. PIAA was too expensive. I ordered them from midnightmoose. Will they be alright? Thanks.

The max 55W superwhites were the WORST bulbs I ever owned. I've tried Cool Blues, Eaglites, Max's, Hella's, and a few others. Why? Short lifespan AND the bulb glass warped.

3 sets in 3 months. As far as looking good, bleh, I've seen it all so I can't really get exited about bulbs. And as for a match? Hmm...not really, but you've already paid...so install them, be happy, and when they burn out, don't buy another set.

From experience, buying "fancy" bulbs for the foglights was one of the bigest waste of time (dont get me wrong, some bulbs were good...but the amount of time you'd spend on replacing bulbs were as you would of never replaced one if you stuck with OEM bulbs to begin with, to me is a waste of time), especially when in the end you realize that OEM was the best after all.

Some people buy enough bulbs in their lifteime where they could've just bought a HID KIT and solved the problem the right way the first time. Just my opinoin. U dont have to get the best HID KIT.. u can get a Mculloh one too for like 300 bux... price of 10 pairs of bulbs, but last more than just 10 months... more like the life of your car.

HeavenLy TL-S: All I can say is that yes the PIAAs are more expensive but based on my experience with them (8 months so far on my TLS) all good without burnt bulbs and I have to say that they are brighter than the stocks. Just look at my gallery and you'll see. Also, my wife's car has them for at least 3yrs and so far so good and yes, I use my fog lights every time my head lights are on, so they get good use and right now I'm doing a lot of night traveling.
