Major Shutter Problem
Ok...so I have a 99 TL with 68k. Only when I have been driving around and have gotten the engine hot, does this happen. When I shift from Park to Drive, the gear goes into place, followed by a giant shutter and jump feeling. I took it in last week and they gave me a NEW transmission under warranty. They also said my rear trans mount was bad and replaced that.
Today when i got back from driving around, I shifted from park to drive just to assure myself that it was fixed and it jumped again!!! WTF!!! What would casue this? I called the dealership back up and they told me that they had no idea but to drive around and bring back in on Monday. Anyone have any ideas???

Do you usually park your car on a incline? If so, and you shift from P > R, D, etc. you're bound to break your motor mounts. Solution? Apply more pressure on the break when shifting out of P.

No, I dont park on an incline. When I shift from Park to Reverse and then reverse to drive it dosent do it. Only when i go directly from park to drive.
