does it sound good through all driving situations... I mean I dont want any backfire/ricey sound ever. I would rather stay stock than have some occational ghetto sounds.

yes it sounds good thru all power ranges.

it is a low rumble at low rpms...get a little louder at like 2k to 3k..then it gets quiet again.

i will post sound clips...just need to get video capture setup working again.

from the catback.
2.25 inch piping..

ya know....if you look at other cars on the road...there are many with big
fat mufflers..OEM!...it's just they are painted black and u don't see them.

these magnaflows are only 1/2 inch bigger in diameter than OEM...i measured.

so whatever.

That's cool dood. I think I forgot to add the word "tip" when I asked you the question though. Does the setup use all mandrel bend pipings?

Did you even use the Y-pipe at all, Joseph??

Looks great. I kind of wussed out last time there was a talk of the Magnaflow, but I've finally made up my mind and I'm getting it this week.

You have the 14" resonator, right? And it sounds good you said? If that's the case, I'll probably go with 18" instead of the 22". I don't want it too loud.

DO NOT GET MAGNAFLOWS W/O RESONATOR...if u want, keep stock one on, I'd suggest get a magnaflow one as i just ordered.

i currently have magnaflows w/ no resonators and it sounds ricey civic loud, can't wait for resonator to come in

I thought 18" resonator was 10425. Is 10426 the stainless steel one?? If so, I'm getting that instead of the 10425 aluminized steel one.

Never mind. 10426 is 2.5" in/out, and 10425 is 2.25" in/out.

I'm keeping the stock 2.25" piping size, so I'm getting 10425.

good work
yea...i had to go to work when i left the car with the guy..
i would have insisted on a few minor differences.

i also would have gone with round body mufflers.

but hopefully someone can learn from this install and do it better...biatches!.

i can always get it changed..
but to tell u the truth...the hangars are hard to see.
i can paint them black.

the 7 inch tip is not long enough..
if you look at the pics...the guy got them as close as he could.

as far as the angle...at first i didn't like it...now i do...

besides..it's not a show car.

and i got a little bump inpower...i can feel it.

and Kris...your right it is not mandrel bent but it better than the 'crimped bending. that i've seen.

and look...i didn't have a fortune to spend on an exhaust.
and..it's only a tl-p...

go easy on her....

the 14' resonator is not enough.

the 18" might be just right.

BIGMAN had a 22".

that's why i cut the plastic so the guy could install the mufflers further back

oh btw mine is not really mandrel bent either.. but i dont think it would make a difference.. on a turbo car maybe but on a N/A car like the TL.. i dont think so..
