Post Lowering Springs

Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out right now what are some good suspension setups. Initially I'm gonna go with Coilovers, but don't have that much $$$ for them right now. So I want to know what are the best spring setup?

I would like to know what kind of springs/coilovers you guys are running, and please post pics, so I know how the drop looks. Also, let me know how it differs from the Factory height (i.e harshness, handling)

Also let me know if you guys have shocks, which ones, and how much it differs also. Thanks.

Comptech springs are an excellent choice and many members have gone with them. It provides a mild drop without a huge impact on ride comfort.

A lot of members have stock struts with their aftermarket springs, however I personally recommend koni shocks with aftermarket springs. The springs drop the ride height which in turn puts more stress on stock struts so it would be wise to get konis along with the springs.

Hmmm, That sounds like a good combo. How much would CompTech's & Koni's run?

I would also like to see pictures of this setup....and all others as well.

Thanks.

Check out the links at the top of the page(suspension) to find out prices or go to autocarparts.com.

Also, go to the TL gallery forums to find pics or check out member's signatures. A lot of guys have their mods in their sigs along with a pic, or you can ask them for a pic.

Hmmmm.......I thought the new Accord springs DO fit on the TL's...unless the Tein's were contsructed a bit different?? I'll be glad to take them off your hands. I'll be riding in either of your or city's car...so i'll know how it feels. how much how much? Are you using Stock Shocks too? I'll be getting my TL-S in January. Maybe MId..who knows. Keyes Acura has a WDP w/Ebony Type S...I'm gonna have to find a day to go with George.

You can check the link in my sig to see the Comptech drop...I still have the stock shocks b/c I didn't want to sacrifice the ride. If you go to Koni's it will make the ride harsher (how much harsher I don't know).
When it comes time for me to replace the shocks I'll do a little research on the benefits of going with Koni's vs the Tokico adjustables.
