Looks like I'll be getting a TL..

Hey everyone.
My Accord was totalled this last weekend. Someone clipped the rear end of my car on the freeway and the car spun 4 times before rolling to the shoulder. The car hit the shoulder curb so hard the wheels feel off. but good thing my bro was ok.
I'm planning to get a 98-00 tl. anything I should look for when purchasing a used tl? any problems I should be aware of?

thanks

the 99's don't have the 5-speed tranny!!
acnup00tl - sounds like a great offer, but I think I'm gonna go with the 5-speed.

I prefer the 4 speed over the 5 speed(less gear shifts and better high speeds) I would like to have the side airbags that the 00+ have

'98 TLs are different from '99. Get the '00 and on and you will get 5 speed and side airbags.

I agree, plus we can control our 1st gear.:p

Either way, go 99+.

If you are into performance, and will mod your car somehow.

Go with the type S no doubt. Because no matter how you mod your car, it's always good to have the type S motor to begin with.

I think the resale value on the Acura is a bit too good So, it's hard to find a decent deal when you trade in or buy an used car from the dealer.

Which means that you really need to look around for a good deal
